Retail Capital, a division of Tyme Bank Limited, (Retail Capital) is partnering with the SAS ME Crisis Partnership Fund to provide funding to predominantly black-owned business, with a particular focus on businesses that operate in townships, at attractive terms. The funding will be made available to qualifying SMMEs who operate in the province of Gauteng.
To be eligible for this funding offer businesses must meet the following Eligible Borrower Criteria:
1. Be a small to medium-sized enterprise which conducts its business in the province of Gauteng, South Africa;
2. Your business, or any business you are associated with must not conduct any activity or business set out in the Exclusion List (as such list may be updated from time to time by the Retail Capital and/or the SA SME Fund GP);
3. Your business must qualify as a Black Owned Company as set out in the BBBEE Act and as such adhere to the BBBEE Codes of Good Practise;
Businesses that will not be considered for funding include businesses that carry on the following activities:
4.1. any illegal business activities;
4.2. production/ or trade in weapons and military equipment;
4.3. pornography;
4.4. gambling; or
4.5. unlicensed business (where licensing is required)
